BEFORE YOU ORDER · TWO DIFFERENT REQUESTS

Custom Case Exchange or Refund? Know the Difference Before You Order

A personalized photo case is included in CasePop’s one-time free exchange promise when you contact us within 30 calendar days of delivery. That does not mean a custom case has an unconditional money-back refund after production begins. Exchange, refund and a damaged or incorrect item are different requests.

Start your photo case

Start with the outcome you actually want

An exchange helps you resolve a case you are not happy with by discussing a replacement. A refund is a separate request to return an approved purchase and have money sent back. Those outcomes are not interchangeable, even when both begin with the same customer-care conversation. Decide which help you are asking for before treating a short promise on a product page as the whole policy.

For a photo case, that distinction matters because your image and layout make the purchase personal. The exchange promise includes photo DIY cases; it is not an unlimited replacement plan. This guide explains CasePop’s existing direct-website terms, rather than adding a new guarantee. The linked, current policy is the place to check the full conditions before paying.

The exchange clock starts at delivery

Contact customer care within 30 calendar days after delivery to request the one-time free exchange. That is a delivery-based window, not 30 days after you first upload a picture, start a preview or place the order. Keep the delivery information with your order email so you can describe the timing clearly if you need help.

The published promise covers standard designs, photo DIY cases and personalized license plate cases bought directly on this website. For the exchange service, CasePop covers return shipping when a return is needed and shipment of the replacement. Contact us first: do not send a case to an address found on an old parcel or place a second paid order to try to arrange the exchange yourself.

A personalized refund has a different production boundary

Personalized photo DIY and license plate cases remain included in the free exchange promise. However, the current policy does not offer change-of-mind refunds for those made-to-order items after production begins, unless applicable law requires otherwise. The exchange promise should not be read as a way to order several personal layouts with an automatic refund for whichever you do not keep.

If you notice a problem or want to change or cancel a personalized order before production, contact customer care promptly. Do not assume that sending a message has paused production or that a change is already approved. Explain the request and wait for the team’s response about the order’s actual stage. This article does not promise a new cancellation deadline, instant approval or an automatic refund.

The standard-case refund option is separate too

For a standard, non-personalized case, the policy describes a separate change-of-mind refund return. Request approval within 30 calendar days of delivery. The case must be unused, unaltered and complete, with original packaging when reasonably available. Under that refund option, the customer pays tracked return shipping. That charge is not the shipping arrangement for the one-time free exchange.

After an approved refund return arrives, the stated inspection aim is within five business days. An approved refund goes to the original payment method, and the payment provider may take additional time to post it. Do not turn an inspection aim into a guaranteed date when money will appear in your account, or apply the standard-case change-of-mind rules to a personalized design.

Damage, defects and the wrong item are not just a change of mind

If the item arrives damaged, appears defective or is not what was ordered, describe that issue directly instead of labeling every concern a preference change. The policy asks you to contact customer care promptly with your checkout email and clear photos of the item and packaging. Keep both while the issue is being resolved.

When CasePop confirms damage, a defect, or a production or fulfillment error, the policy provides for an appropriate replacement or refund and approved return shipping when a return is required. The one-time dissatisfaction exchange does not remove remedies required by applicable law. This is an explanation of the store’s process, not a determination of anyone’s legal rights or a promise that an unreviewed claim has been accepted.

Use the policy as reassurance, not as your design check

Before paying for a photo case, confirm the full phone model, selected construction and image placement in the current Custom Studio. A model with a similar name is not a safe substitute. Look at the important part of the photo, the camera area and any edge cropping. A readable preview can help you make a choice, but a browser screenshot is not a physical print proof.

Keep the original image and a note of the selection you intended. Those details can help you explain a concern later without guessing which version you meant. If a critical face, date or piece of handwriting is difficult to judge, ask before ordering. Neither a generous exchange policy nor a payment button is evidence that a particular crop, color or phone-model fit has been individually approved.

Make your first message useful

Use the customer-care route linked in the policy and provide your checkout email. Include the order number if you have it, but you do not have to remember it just to contact us. For a custom case, explain which photo, text or layout needs attention and what help you are requesting. For a physical problem, clear item and packaging photos are more useful than an unrelated screenshot.

Send order details privately to support, not in a public comment or a review photo. Wait for return instructions before mailing anything. Finally, confirm where the purchase was completed: CasePop’s direct-website policy is not a replacement for the terms shown by TikTok Shop or another marketplace at its checkout. Check that purchase channel’s process if that is where you paid.

Quick questions before you decide

Does free exchange mean an automatic refund?

No. The one-time exchange and the refund options have different conditions. Personalized change-of-mind refunds are not offered after production starts unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Should I buy a replacement before contacting support?

No. Contact customer care first. The published exchange process says you do not need to place and pay for a new order to use that service.

Does this apply to a TikTok Shop order?

This guide covers purchases completed directly on the CasePop website. A marketplace purchase follows the terms and process shown by that marketplace.

Choose with the distinction in mind

Review the current policy, confirm the exact model and layout, then continue when you are comfortable with your selection.
