Reference photo of the distressed license-plate collage phone case style
Existing style reference, not your personalized proof. Your lettering is prepared after payment and sent by email for approval.

Start with a word you already use

Your initials, a short nickname or a meaningful mix of letters and numbers are good starting points. A name friends actually call you often feels more personal than a phrase invented just to fill the space. Write down three possibilities, then remove the one that needs a long explanation. The best choice is not necessarily the most clever; it is the one you will still enjoy seeing every day.

The CasePop personalized license plate case accepts 1–8 English letters or numbers, with optional spaces or hyphens between them. The form confirms whether your entry fits. Keep it short rather than trying to reproduce a sentence. This is decorative phone-case artwork, not an official registration plate.

Decide what needs to stay together

Read the text as a shape before thinking about its meaning. Two initials have a different rhythm from a seven-character nickname. A hyphen can separate two groups, but it also uses space. Try the text with and without that separator in a note. If the reading becomes ambiguous without it, keep it and check the balance on the proof rather than choosing by character count alone.

Avoid combinations you can only recognize because you know the answer. The letter O and the number 0, or I and 1, deserve a second look. If both could make sense, include a note when discussing the proof so the studio knows which character you intended. Do not approve a design until the lettering is unmistakable to you.

Personal does not have to mean your real registration

You can use plate-style text without displaying a vehicle identifier. A nickname, initials or a personal number can carry the same graphic idea. No vehicle paperwork or plate photograph is needed. Choose only the information you are comfortable carrying on the outside of your phone.

What the $25 order includes

This is the existing distressed license-plate collage style with your selected lettering, not a blank request for an unrelated design. Enter the text, select your supported phone model and leave an email you can check. The personalized plate-text case is $25, with free standard shipping to eligible U.S. addresses and applicable sales tax included. Your own photo or illustration belongs in the separate Photo DIY Studio, currently $35.

The reference photo shows the style. It does not change into an instant mockup as you type. After payment, the studio emails the first personalized proof within 24 hours. You can approve it or request changes through the secure proof link. Printing starts only after approval.

Read the proof in two passes

  1. Check the order facts. Read each character, including numbers and separators, and confirm the full phone model. Do not substitute a similar-looking model.
  2. Check the composition. Look at the text size and placement within the collage. Make sure the important lettering is not lost at an edge or interrupted by the camera area.

Review the proof at a comfortable size and then reduce it to roughly the size of a case. If you want a change, say exactly which part needs adjusting rather than simply asking for “something better.” Keep the approved proof for reference.

Allow time after the proof

The 24-hour window is for the first draft, not arrival at your door. Time spent reviewing or revising comes before production. For a date-sensitive gift, read the shipping policy and contact support@moodincase.com before ordering. Custom-order return restrictions apply once production begins.

Before you order

Does the product photo show my personalized text?

No. It is a style reference. Your first personalized design proof is emailed within 24 hours after payment, and production starts only after you approve it.

Do I need a photo of my actual license plate?

No. Enter your chosen text, select the phone model and provide an email. You do not need to upload a plate photo or vehicle document.

Is the 24-hour proof window a delivery estimate?

No. It covers the first design proof after payment. Approval, any requested changes, production and shipping happen separately.
